Worship Ministries

We have a number of opportunities to serve others by supporting worship services. Volunteers in these areas are vital to our ability to worship together each week. For more information or to volunteer for the ministries below, click here to submit your interest form. 

Acolytes—The word acolyte means “server.”  Acolytes are composed of children and adults who assist at our services.

Altar Guild—Work behind the scenes preparing the altar for worship services.

Eucharistic Ministers and Visitors—Help distribute the Blessed Sacrament at the altar rail (Ministers) and to shut-ins (Visitors).

Lectors—Lay persons (adults and older children and youth) who help by reading scriptures.

Ushers—Assist in the mechanics of our services making sure things are done decently and in order.

Altar Flowers—We invite flower donations to supply the flowers that decorate the altar each week. This gift can demonstrate your appreciation and support for our congregation, or you may wish to commemorate a special event or special person in your life by dedicating flowers for a special date.
